How can it be the week of Christmas already?! I would be lying if I said I was totally ready for it. I still have some last minute things to gather before the big day comes and we visit family.
On that same note, it makes me sad to think about taking down all my Christmas decor. I don’t like to put it up until after Thanksgiving, but then it just seems like it is coming right back down. Although it will be super belated, I plan to share a few photos of the decor that I used this year. I don’t have a ton, but who doesn’t like to see how someone else decorates?!
This last weekend was a fun one with lots of good memories that were made. It all started with a 3+ hour drive down to Branson!
This little guy decided not to sleep the entire way and didn’t take a nap until later that afternoon…not fun!
Our first stop took us down to the Branson Landing where we did a little shopping. If you follow me on Instagram, you saw this one.
I was nervous he was going to fall off the gorillas hand since he is so squirmy these days!
Next up was Silver Dollar City! The lines to get to the park were terrible and we waited in traffic for over and hour and a half to even get there. Once we arrived, the parking lots were insane and we were lucky enough to happen upon a spot a car was pulling out of.
While we were in the park, we did a lot of walking, shopping and looking at lights.
Camden fell asleep before we even got out of the parking lot and was out until we reached my sisters house.
Sunday was the day of photos for us! While we waited for Camden to get a good nap in before the majority of the pictures we planned to take, we ordered Applebee’s To-Go and had an impromptu picnic on the floor. Kelley had to add a little something to this one!
After the little guy woke up, we snapped some fun photos! I don’t know why it is so hard to get little ones to smile during photos…we made fools out of ourselves for a handful of little smirks and smiles!
And the cake smash…
These two photos are some that I snapped on my phone…I can’t wait to see all that Kelley captured!
Shortly after a bath and packing up the car, we hit the road and headed back home.
Today has felt like a slow one already. Cam’s naps are starting to shift so that has been fun. I am trying to get all my house chores done early this week so we can focus on all things fun when Mat is at home.
I hope everyone has a good week!
